Anne Smith

COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

South Carolina native Anne Smith has provided customized communications strategies to brands big and small for two decades. After spending years at the state's two largest advertising agencies, she founded Avery Smith Communications and serves as a communications consultant for Keylight. 

Throughout her career, Anne has served a range of clients, including: healthcare (Prisma Health), financial and professional services (Elliott Davis), advocacy (South Carolina Election Commission), B2B (Kentwool Manufacturing), non-profits (LiveWell Greenville), consumer brands (Firehouse Subs), and real estate/tourism/travel (VisitGreenvilleSC, Seabrook Island, Riverbanks Zoo). 

A graduate of Clemson University, where she earned the Geddes Award for excellence in communication, the Tiger Cup, the Trustees’ Medal, and an invitation to deliver her graduating class’ keynote speech, Anne also has a Master of Mass Communications from the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism. She lives in Greenville, SC with her husband and four children.
